Had to return this pulley. The bushing that goes through the bearing and holds it to the block rubbed on pulley. Bought new one from competitor with no problems there.

Good product, it was wider or thicker.. Belt centered perfectly. Lined it up with the OEM product that I took off just a bit wider. Really easy to install one bolt.

I would have given it a 5 if it was the same exact size.

The Idler/Tensioner Pulley from Dayco does not fit for 5.7 Hemi Engines. These specially formulated glass-filled polymer or steel-bodied pulleys have smoother surfaces and tighter dimensional tolerances for less vibration and longer belt life.

why is this one not ribbed to fit in the grooves of the belt, what is to stop the belt from slipping right off the side. Only asking because im having a problem with pieces of the belt fraying away and then now the belt popped off so if it can eventually pop off a ribbed pulley whats to stop it from sliding right off this one?

The tensioner doesn't need to be ribbed dew to the pressure it puts on the belt. If it is install and or mounted right it wont cause any issues with your belt.
