Installed this on my 1995 Cadillac Deville with no problems with the part. Getting to it required patience and help from my neighbor, "His Excellancy, The Doormeister"!
Had to return to store to secure a door lock link-rod clip kit as the clip on the inside handle vanished into the {"door unknown" (not related to part).
Make sure all linkages travel freely (silicone grease?) prior to replacing the vapor barrier.

Difficult to install, but not your fault. The actuator is inside the door and is inherently hard to get to. Took several hours and item does not work properly. It is seizing up. There were also no directions with the unit and it had a wheel/gear on it which the original gm unit did not have It really didnt connect to anything. I have already ordered and received a replacement part[...] It will just involve more hours to take out and reinstall new unit. Thanks, John.
