Comments about ACI Windshield Washer Pump:

The Washer fluid motor in my 1991 mazda 323 work commuter car was shot. This replacement fit perfectly and was very easy to install. Didn't need to us any mods that came with the unit. Price was excellent, especially with the promotional discount applied. Pick up at nearby store saved money and was quick and easy. I have had it installed for only a few months but it has had a work out with Colorado winter driving conditions and it works very well. Very good pressure and no leaks. I expect it will last as well as the original did. 21 years.

    Cons

    • Need to wire clip

    Best Uses

    • Rav4

Comments about ACI Windshield Washer Pump:

2002 Rav4 - The pump fits perfectly where the orginal sits, however the wire clip is different. You will need to use the provided splice-less connectors to connect to the original wires and use the new clips provided to the pump. There are no wiring instructions - you have a 50/50 chance of getting it right. The shop told me to just switch the clip around if it didn't work the first time. It only took about 10 or 15 minutes more to do the wiring otherwise it would have been a 25 minute job.

Well this all depends on the skill level of whoever is removing or replacing the part. For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.

It should be attached to the washer fluid tank which I believe it is behind the front bumper.

On a Toyota 2002 rav4 it's fits into the bottom of the fluid reservoir. I had to remove the bottom cover that was connected to the wheel via a few screws. Sounds more complicated that it was. Hopes this helps.

        A:

It is more than likely located on the windshield washer bottle itself , sometime you may have to remove part of the inner fender well to reach it.
