I had trouble getting the new fan positioned correctly to lock it in place. But now that it is installed it runs and blows great. Glad I took the time to replace the squeaky fan. Also replaced the cabin air filter, which I didn't know it had. The woman at Advanced Auto Parts told me about the filter. That may have helped the volume of air flow more than the new blower.

for the money you get what you get . its worth it because im here in florida you need AC so in that case it works . it's very unbalanced what causes it to be very loud and it's only when you turn it on high low vibration sound throughout the cab continue to make noise the fan itself is smaller not the motor the white plastic blades about 1 inch smaller in diameter very flimsy but nowadays we all know that it's not quality its quantity long as they sell enough who cares what works like. I'm sure I'll need a replacement soon and I'll get the same 1 because and going to be know better anywhere else.

If you want to save money and time, this blower will do it for you. Excellent price, it works just as well as the OEM and cost alot less. The warranty is as good as they come. Very easy to install even on a complicated dash such as my application a 02 Chevy Avalance.

As difficult as it is to access the motor, I was hoping I would never have to replace it again. However, after 10 months, only high speed works on it. Warranty only allows 1 free replacement over the life of the vehicle. Hopefully, the second one will be better. If not, I guess I'll buy OEM the next time.

The indexing alignment tabs on the blower housing pose a minor challenge upon installing. Electrical connections and reinstalling 2 screws was a snap. Blower wheel is slightly smaller than OEM but blower assy works just fine once installed.

Check the speeds by turning the fan conrol to all positions. Take note which fan speeds work and which speeds do not work. If the fan works only on one speed the blower motor resistor is very likely bad. Check the fuses under the hood in the fuse and relay center. Check the voltage at the electrical connector on the blower motor resistor to see if the fuse and relay are good. There should be power at two terminals of the blower motor resistor. If only one terminal has power, replace the resistor. If two terminals have power, replace the blower motor itself.Answered on 10/14/2011 by Auto Part-er Andy from AAP
