Very simple to use. The gasket fit perfectly on the oil drain plug on a Ford Focus ZX3. Definitely include a drain plug gasket in an oil-change cycle--you never know if a leak would occur without a regular replacement.

I own a 1996 Mercury Sable Wagon, 3.0L Duratec 30 V-6 DOHC, straight-4 engine. I went to replace the rubber gasket on my oil drain plug, and this plastic piece doesn't fit at all. The bolt for the drain plug has a recessed area that you can press the rubber gasket into, and this gasket was much too big and a hard plastic. I would recommend if you own a Taurus or Mercury, to get a ride to the store and bring the gasket with you.
I simply fixed it using a gasket sealant on the rubber gasket on the plug since the gasket was fine - just bent, works fine now.
