Comments about Wagner ThermoQuiet® Brake Shoes - Rear:
Was an exact OEM replacement, all the adjuster, spring atttach points etc.were placed exactly where needed. Even though drum brakes are challenging, these shoes made the job a bit easier.

Comments about Wagner ThermoQuiet® Brake Shoes - Rear:
I installed these thermoquiet brake shoes on a 2000 ford windstar ,and I was very pleased that there is no brake squeal or any brake noise at all.
Comments about Wagner ThermoQuiet® Brake Shoes - Rear:
I have used many different brands of aftermarket brake pads over the years and the best ones I have found are the Wagner ThermoQuiet brand.
I have a 2003 Windstar that I replaced the rear shoes on about 18 months ago due to one of the rear wheel cylinders blowing out, the original rear shoes were soaked with brake fluid. I thought I could get by with the cheaper store brand shoes but they ended up being extremely noisey. My daughters who would sit in the back row of the van were always reminding me about the noise. It sounded like there was metal/rocks between the shoes and the drums, it was even noisier outside the vehicle. It occurred all the time, even after you have driven the vehicle for a while. I removed the drums a couple of times over the 18 month period and I would dump out this rust colored dust - a lot of it. My guess is that these shoes have a lot of metal content to them and it was basically metal shavings/dust that was causing my noise problems.
I just came across the $15 rebate for these Wagner shoes so I decided to put them on and it has made a world of difference - no noise. My wife interprets brake squealing/noise as degraded brake performance so I have had the Wagner ThermoQuiet front disc pads on the front of this Van for several years now and they have been excellent. I can say the same so far for these rear shoes.

Comments about Wagner ThermoQuiet® Brake Shoes - Rear:
Price for set of brake shoes made me a bit apprehensive. The pricing was so good that I expected the brake shoes to 'squeal'. To my surprise, the brake shoes are extremely quiet.
