Comments about Dorman - Help Brake Caliper Bolt - Ford:
Torque these bolts to 90-100lbs, or you will be sorry! There are many cases on the forums of these bolts(and the original ones too) letting go if they are too loose. They are located behind the knuckle and need extra care to tighten.
Borrow a torque wrench if you are unsure, Advance rents them free in stores. These need the same torque as your lugnuts.
Comments about Dorman - Help Brake Caliper Bolt - Ford:
First off your bolt is gonna fly out if it is not torque to the right specification whether it be OEM or not. Most of these bolts need to be torqued to 90-100ft/lbs. Most people have a 3/8 ratchet and just torque these down with as much force as they can, which can get you on average of 60-80 ft/lbs. You should use a 1/2" drive breaker bar or a good torque wrench to install these and you won't have any problems. Plus you should install with lock tite, I do this even on OEM bolts.

Comments about Dorman - Help Brake Caliper Bolt - Ford:
Bought this kit two weeks ago to do a COMPLETE, and I mean complete front brake job. Everything seemed to go great... Today, two weeks later, I was driving, hit the brakes normally, and almost ended up rear ending someone, of course i hit the E BRAKE and in turn, someone also came VERY close to rear ending the (you know what) out of me. Went to the closest mechanic (within a few feet), One of the two caliper bolts (this kind that i am reviewing) that were installed and torqued... was GONE... GONZO, NOT THERE. My caliper was hanging and ground the (you know what) out of the inside of my rim. Extremely dangerous. MANUFACTURING ISSUES. Its almost too bad I didnt hit the car in front of me, and its too bad the car behind me didnt rear end me, because let me tell ya Advance Auto.. You would of had one hell of a lawsuit on your hands. Get properly treated, up to par bolts.
