I purchased this drop in filter for my 2001 grand am to see if I could gain any gas mileage and I sure did. Within the first 2 weeks I noticed my transmission shifts smoother no more jerking when I shift at 3100 rpm's as well as a gas mileage increase from 29 mpg to 33.8 mpg. This was well worth my [$] and will pay for itself in fuel savings over the next few months.
