Comments about Denso IT16 Iridium Power Spark Plug:
I bought these plugs for a Pontiac G6 GT to liven it up. In the beginning they were great with a large difference in acceleration. However within 700 miles on the plugs this performance increase started to dive downward. My gas mileage went from 25 mpg to somewhere around 16 mpg with only about 2000 miles on the plugs. I currently am looking on the site for the stock delco part number to get my gas mileage and performance back. Right now with 2500 miles on the plugs my car has a rough idle, which will be gone once the Denso's are out! (Use them for race day and then take them out and reinstall your factory ones) For the price they are per plug they should last more than 2500 miles.

Comments about Denso IT16 Iridium Power Spark Plug:
It is total different after I installed these Denso plugs into my Ford E150 van with 998,000 miles. It had stock Autolite platinum spark plugs which are now with very large gaps. I got 6 of them with 20 off of 50 online deal which go down to [$] a piece for Iridium plug.I couldn't be happier. May be plug wire on next deal??

Comments about Denso IT16 Iridium Power Spark Plug:
These plugs made my cobra mustang run alot better so I tried them in my everyday driver 05 Focus and now it runs alot better also. Just be sure and gap them at factory specs.I am suprised that they perform that much better than the NGK Iridiums that came stock! You will not be disappointed.

Q:
Hi, Just got your It16 iridium power spark plugs in the mail. was wondering if these plugs were pre-gapped at the factory, and good to install, or if they needed to be gapped at recommended settings still. Thanks1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
A spark plug part number might fit hundreds of different engines from many different manufacturers. Although the spark plug from the factory will come with a gap to a pre-selected setting, this may not be the right gap for your particular engine. The incorrect plug gap for your engine can contribute to a high rate of misfires, loss of power, plug fouling, poor fuel economy, and accelerated plug wear. It is always best to check the gap against the manufacturer's specifications. If adjusting the gap on fine wire or precious metal plugs such as platinum or iridium be very careful not to apply any pressure or prying force to the fine wire center electrode or insulator as they can be damaged. The gap should be adjusted by only moving the ground electrode.Q:
I have a 2003 chevy s10 pickup with a 2.2 lt engine. Will this plug work well with this small engine? Will it give it a little more power and will it effect gas mileage for better or worst? What plug would be the best plug for this vehicle to give it a little more power?1 answer

I have a 2003 Mustang 3.8L V6 with nearly 140K miles. I'm now experiencing poor gas mileage, hesitation and lack of power. I've had conflicting recommendations. 1. Stay with OEM only plug ... only plug that will work with this engine. 2. go to a Bosch platinum 4 plug. 3. go to a NKG Iridium plug. 4. Go to a Denso Iridium plug.1 answer
