Comments about Driveworks Front Wheel Bearing:

This bearing is [*] replaced the front right wheel bearing with this "economy" ball bearing. It started sqeaking within a week and was wearing out and clunking on turns in 4 weeks.Spend the extra $$ on a tapered roller bearing. It's a very sucky job on a 96 Windstar. Now I get to do it again!

I noticed that the national wheelbearing has no rating and the driveworks wheelbearing has a 3 star beside it so does that mean it is a better quality part

I would pack them with grease before installing.

      • A:

This is a sealed bearing, press-in- you cannot pack it. They come pre-lubed as a unit... the more expensive one listed shows the picure, pretty much typical FWD bearing.
