Put these in my Pontiac G8 GXP (same motor as the 08+ base Corvette), with CAI, headers etc. Slight MPG (0.5-1.0) and power (4-6hp) gains over the previous NGK TR6, not sure over stockers. Not nothing, but not much on a motor that puts out 495hp at the flywheel. But after 14000 miles they are shot, started getting misfires at light throttle, bucking on the highway, etc. Gap grew from .040 to over .070 on the tightest.
They would be fine if they were as cheap as copper plugs you swap out annually, but at over double the cost of other iridium plugs, they are nowhere near worth it.

Just installed these on my 5.3 2010 gmc sierra single cab after 67,000 miles and all i can say is complete satisfaction i can definately feel more power and it turns up way more!It might not be but 4hp gain but any hp is a advantage no matter what price it is from just a spark plug its amazing what they can do they definately do what they say!

Very easy to install in a 2001 Ford Escape. I gapped them per manufacturer recommendations. At first I noticed a huge increase in power. Couldn't tell you MPG because I did not get a whole tank on them. After less than 2 weeks my car started skipping. I replaced them with OEM recommended plugs and the skipping stopped immediately. Luckily they do have a warranty and I was able to get my money back for them.

I installed a set in a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica that has a Performance Intake and Exhaust installed plus a fuel catalyst for increased MPG. I replaced gapless plugs that were worn out after 50000 miles. When I accelerated swiftly from a stop and the vehicle hit third gear, the torque actually pulled the vehicle forward like it never had. Driving normally brought my lost mileage from the worn plugs back up 2.5mpg where it used to be.

After hearing about these plugs I decided to pick up a set for my 04 Bonneville. I set the gap to .054 due to the manufacturer recommendations of not gapping over .055 and could not believe the mileage I was getting. The listed gas mileage of my Bonneville is 21 mpg city, and after installing the Pulstars I got an astonishing 28 mpg city!! I actually recalculated everything 3 times because I thought I was wrong. I did a tune up beforehand, had my injectors cleaned as well as changed the fuel filter so I'm sure that helped as well, but for the 3800 series motor in a 3600 lb car, you can't beat it!

Put the adi's in my 3.1l 1996 olds. Daily driving saw an improvement of about 2 mpg. The highway is where they shined. I went from 25 to 31 mpg doing about 75 mph. For changing plugs I think that is amazing! I would and in fact do tell everyone to go get a set. I did notice if I drive hard and accel. fast gas mileage is horrible but there is a deffinate power increase. Drive normal and you'll be happy.

Just got the pulstar pulse plugs installed on our Pontiac Torrent 3.4L. Extremely difficult to install on this engine. Three plugs on rear of this FWD six cyclinder had to be installed by a mechanic, no way to get to them. Confusing instructions from different information souces on gapping the plugs. One source advised NOT to gap the plugs as they are preset at factory. Another site advised to gap plugs to manufacturer specs but not more than 0.055. When double checking the gaps as set by factory, they were all over the place, some at 0.045, some at 0.030, and one at 0.025. Make sure to gap them before installing them. Only been two weeks so unknown if it was worth the expense.

In fact, manufacturing origin is required to be of obtainable public information, BY LAW. Thus, he gave you some nonsensical answer, simply because he does not know and was unwilling to take the needed steps to find out the answer, in order to properly answer your question. As for the integrity of Advance Auto Parts, I'm honestly not suprised at all. Pulstar spark plugs are made assembled, tested, and packaged in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I was unable to find out about the actual physical component origins (the raw materials used to build the plugs), as they are likely foreign, like most everything seems to be these days. Check out the FAQ section in Pulstar's website. Look on the VECI (emissions) label that is located somewhere under your hood. Every car has (or had when it left the factory) a VECI label, by law. It will usually have a vacuum line routing schematic, spark plug gap setting, ignition timing setting (if applicable) and some other details. The spark plug gap should be listed there, typically near or at the bottom of the sticker. The label is often found on the top of the radiator core support, fan shroud, or sometimes found on the air cleaner housing. Other locations my be possible. I'm almost certain that your Chevy's (GMC) 4.8L V-8 requires a .060" gap. Don't believe everything you hear (or read) from the internet.
