The reason I bought this, is because of the lifetime warranty...I doubt the truck will last that long, but I don't have to worry about that cost of replacement again,... now do I?

Works good. Just remember to make sure you have field with the key on. And hook the regulator up after the battery

Yes, this part Remy New Alternator - 105 Amps, Part No. 91602 fits your 2003 Chevrolet 1500 4x4 with 6.0 motor. Having more Amps will definitely be a good idea if going with the Under drive pulley and unless, if you plan to add a tons of accessories, for example: sound system etc, ie; simply taxing the system.
