My son owns a 2005 chevrolet trail blazer and had a trouble light that we had to look in the owners manual to figure out exactly what the sign actually meant...... From our research it indicated that the trouble sign was the gas cap wasn't securely attached. The old gas cap wasn't working properly because the over tightening device was stripped. I only shop with Advance Auto Parts and went online to see the recommendations or products that were offered as replacement parts. There were several listed and the price varied at least forty dollars but there wasn't any major differences. I chose the cheaper one and it works perfectly the only fault is that it doesn't have a drop cord attachment to the gas cap cover.

Gas cap was an excellent replacement for the one that came on my vehicle from the factory. It really tightens nicely. The clerk was able to reattach it to the tether on my old one, and it works perfectly. Excellent purchase!
