I last replaced these pads using the exact same Wearever Gold pads and they only lasted a little more than 1 year (+/- 10,000 miles). They are not accurately named or maybe should be called "Wherever"!!

I installed brand new set of rotors along with these pads. After a week of driving the pads now make a grinding noise as if metal on metal contact when applying the brakes. I use engine braking to help keep wear on the pads to a minimum but with these pads it doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

Replaced front pads and 1 Rotor on my MR2 Spyder.
Brakes seem to work nicely. Stopping a little better than the old pads. Haven't tested fade in extreme conditions.. but they seem fine with a few hard stops so far. VERY Cheap with coupons. front/back/1rotor under 60bucks.
Best brakes - NO.. great brakes for the money.. absolutely.
