Didn't fit the application--too bad since the part looked to be well made.

Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Door Lock Actuator, Front Right, Rear Right:
I found this part application using a popular search page, but the listing is incorrect. This part does NOT fit the rear liftgate of GM SUV's, but seems to be intended for one of the SIDE doors. I have attached a photo of the Actual Actuator removed from my 2005 Chevy Tahoe for comparison.
I believe that Dorman products are very good quality, and the employees of Advance Auto Parts have been very knowledgeable and helpful, but THIS PART DOES BELONG IN THE REAR LIFTGATE of GM SUV's.
I purchased this part based on this application listing, however, it clearly does NOT match the actuator that I removed from the liftgate of my 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe, which is a completely different design. Fortunately, the team at my local Advance Auto Parts Store were very gracious, and refunded my money, followed by a thorough (but unsuccessful) search for a correct replacement part.
Bottom Line: This appears to be a high-quality part, but simply does NOT FIT this application (2000-2006 GMC/Chevrolet Full-Size SUV Rear LIFTGATE).
