Comments about Driveworks Steering Tie Rod End:

I have replaced this type item on other vehicles and not had to do any additional maintenance. However, with this particular part I had to have the front end aligned due to the dimensional differences. It was hot an exact replacement.

                          A:

The tie rod is part of the steering mechanism in a vehicle. A tie rod is a slender structural rod that is used as a tie and capable of carrying tensile loads only.
A tie rod consists of an inner and an outer end.
