Hello,
I have a 2001 chevy cavalier. I noticed the tie-rod end rubber part is torn on both sides. Is there a certain tie rod that I need, or will OE brand do? Also, do you know what the torque specs are for this nut?

OE brand should do just fine. As long as you get it on there tight and use the cotter pin like most vehicles have to hold the nut in place, you will be fine.Answered on 9/29/2010 by Mike from AAP
