  • Q:

    I had a new turn signal switch installed. That made turn signals work but the horn won't blow. The horn was working fine before. What do you think is most likely to have happened?

      The pigtail connector should be the possible cause of the problem for the horn not blowing. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.

    right front brake locks up after useing brakes 4-5 times.blead brake good to go?

      A:

      The reason the front brakes are locking up after a bit of riding is because they are dragging. As they drag for a bit, the fluid begins to heat up which causes expansion. Eventually it expands enough to push hard enough on the pistons to lock the wheel.
      Try to lift the front off the ground and spin it.. listen for drag.. it will almost certainly be there. You can also try to put stock lever back on and spin it again. It would still drag. At this point, you will want to bleed it and once again test for drag. Even the front brake lever may be out of adjustment. If it does not release all of the way the pressure will not bleed back into the resivour. Make sure the brake lever has some free play when it is at rest.
