I have to meet my girlfriend at the gas station everytime she has to get gas cause she cant get the dang thing to come off.. I can barely get the thing off. Ordered it online and setup for store pickup. Tried to take it back and exchange it for a non locking gas cap and got a dang run around cause i ordered it online. Needless to say i wont purchase another product online or instore from advance again.U asked for my feedback hope you like what you got..

Bought this after fuel prices went sky high to deter theft. Had another one before, but it caused the Malfunction indicator Lamp (MIL) aka check engine light to come on. No problems with this one as of yet and hope not to have any. I recommend these especially if you cannot secure your car in a garage to prevent fuel theft.

How to Use:
LOCK CAP with clockwise motion with at least 3 clicks.
UNLOCK CAP, once cap is locked on, get the words on the cap reading left to right, insert key with grooves facing LEFT, turn KEY 1/4 turn clockwise then turn KEY a 1/4 turn back to its original position, remove KEY, turn CAP counterclockwise until it UNLOCKs.

Instructions to remove a locking gas cap: 1. Unlock the fuel-fill access door. Some cars with electric door lock systems will secure the access door over the gas cap whenever the car is locked. Simply unlock a door on the car to open the fuel door on such models. Other makes have a lever under the dashboard or driver's seat that unlocks the fuel door. 2. Unlock the gas cap. Slip the key into the slot on the center of the cap with the teeth toward the outer circle. 3. Turn the key clockwise. The lock cylinder gives and allows the key to move. 4. Turn the gas cap counterclockwise. Unscrew the cap until it's completely off the threads. 5. Replace the cap and tighten it. Slip the key into the slot and hold the cap by the still with one hand while turning the key counterclockwise. Remove the key and check the lock by trying to open the cap.
