        It is usually located where two lines connect together, tucked inside the tube, the orifice in the bottom tube coming off the air conditioning condensor and it is located in front of your radiator

        The orifice tube could be located at the EVAPORATOR INLET, mid way between the EVAPORATOR and the CONDENSER (in-line) or at the CONDENSER OUTLET.

        underside / along side of the dryer along frame rail near bottom of the evap box in the smaller of the two line it should have a crimp in the metal line near the separation nuts do not over tighten when going back with it !! answer from robert butler 18 years master gm dealer tech..retired...!!!!

        on some applications the is a orifice that slides directly into the bottom side port on the evaporator,,but if its there usually not one in another place so there the same just worded different!

        If you follow the A/C line from the condensor to the firewall, you have found the line that contains the orifice tube. The orifice tube is located inside the line itself.
