I installed 4 of these locks on my 1996 Chevy Impala SS. The first wheel lock key could not be used after the wheel locks were installed since it stripped out. [...] another wheel lock key to me, however it stripped out on the first wheel lock I tried to remove! The metal on both the wheel lock and the key are too soft. The design is poor - the key deforms and cannot take any torque; there are better wheel locks out there. I am now stuck with 4 wheel locks that I cannot remove!!! I cannot imagine the trouble these would create if one is trying to change a flat on the side of the road. DO NOT PUT THESE ON YOUR CAR UNLESS YOU NEVER WANT OR NEED TO TAKE YOUR WHEELS OFF AGAIN!!!!!

Q:
Is this a set of 4 lugs and one locking? It shows 3 items in the picture. One OEM looking lug, the locking lug and the key for the locking lug. @ over 2lbs i'd think it'd be more than just these 3 items - please clarify.Asked on 5/11/2010 by Anonymous1 answer
