first time using Denso platinum plugs,they were on sale so I decided to try something different,much quieter than the Autolite double platinum plugs that I've been using for the past 4 years,the regular Denso platinum plugs have the same fuel efficiency than the Autolite D.P.'s,so don't fall for all that fancy Double this and that,or more expensive Iridium plugs,there is no difference (at least in my car),I drive 80mi round trip a day,5 days a week,will buy again.

The plugs are not gapped to OEM specification. After spending an hour looking for information online, I came to the conclusion that Denso wants you to install them with the gap they recommend rather than the OEM specification. This would be good information to know up front. Apparently if you regap them to OEM specs, you will get misfiring.

These plugs don't have traditional ribbing like most plugs, but rather they use downward-angled corners resembling a drywall anchor. This makes it a lot harder to get it out of a spark plug socket. Not a big deal, but these plugs actually pulled the rubber gaskets out of several of my SP sockets.
Once I had them installed, they fired just fine. No complaints about performance... but insulator design turned a simple spark plug swap into an arduous process.
