    Exact fit but

the retainer for the cable is a very loose fit. had to moditfy the retainer to make sure it would pull the actuator cable for the 4WD.

This part is junk. It has been replaced twice now and needs to be replaced a 3rd time. Since it is warrantied, the last replacement was no cost other than the time to have it installed. Part has not held up for a winter yet! Replacement lasted not even 2 months and this is with minimal 4 wheel drive use.

Without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it nor provide you with a 100% answer. However, we would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not solve or be the problem

I have a 98 chevy blazer 4x4. When you slow down from doing 55mph it sounds like the front axle is tiring to engage. if you hit the switch to 4 wheel drive then back to 2 wheel dive it stops. in till the next time you go over 55mph. Will it be this switch?
