we talked to the online person who said the plug assembly didnt come with the tail light assembly which it did, so we are waiting on a return authorization, to return the product.

I BOUGHT THE CORRECT PART FROM ADVANCE AUTO LAST YEAR, Dorman - OE Solutions Tail Light Circuit
Board - Part No 923-005. THIS WAS FOR THE DRIVER'S (left) SIDE. NOW I AM LOOKING FOR ONE FOR THE PASSENGER (right) SIDE AND ADVANCE AUTO DOESN'T CARRY THIS PART ANYMORE. From the Dorman site, the part number that I need is 923-006.

I would recommend you to re-wire the light when you replace the socket. However, you will need to cut the wires and either solder new wires in place or use wire nuts to hold the wires together if you want to replace the socket.Answered on 9/7/2011 by Dennis from AAP
