Comments about Airtex Electric Fuel Pump:
The part fit right up, fired right up, no issues. It's been installed for 2 weeks now, no problems.
Comments about Airtex Electric Fuel Pump:
Pump died after 2 weeks. New pump (free from warranty) is about to die after 2 weeks. Also, the optional strainer that fits this pump doesn't fit the factory bracket. You MUST cut off the pegs to make it fit. Buy a Bosch for $15-$20 more.

Comments about Airtex Electric Fuel Pump:
On the beggining I was skeptical to order on line.
But I learn how easy it is to order, and have someone to bring the products to me, or the closest store. I walk in, ask for my order, and everything is ready to go. So simple and easy. Most parts are available right away. No waiting. I save time, fuel and no long waiting in line, in a day or two in front of my door. And of course the savings offers, by buying more I save more. Thank you Advance Auto Parts. You make my life easier

Comments about Airtex Electric Fuel Pump:
The pump itself seems to be working properly although the shape of the bottom of the pump and the gasket were different. They did not conform or fit properly with the housing securing clamp that held the pump in place. The gasket was to thick. It would not allow the bottom plastic holding piece that slides into the pump housing to fit in place. It prevent the pump from falling out of the pump housing/sending unit.I had to modify and use the old gasket to fit it in. The gasket needs to be changed so it fits properly it is to thick and the shape of the filter are not matching properly with this botom housing clamp piece.

Comments about Airtex Electric Fuel Pump:
Airtex is junk. Fuel pump installed in 2004 Hyundai Elantra only lasted 10,000 miles. DON'T BUY!! Auto 7 is best bet.

Comments about Airtex Electric Fuel Pump:
Within 1 minute of replacing the fuel pump in the zero degree weather, the pump failed and I had to re-replace the pump. It was a waste of time to even think of buying this product unless you like working along the road on fuel pumps or enjoy riding in tow trucks!
