Installed this kit in a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, 3800. Install went just fine, but the only instruction included was a note on when and where and how much to apply, when it came to the black RTV. OK. I knew where almost everything went in this kit. I had no idea what the small blue rubber socket went to and I had no use for the smaller end rubber gaskets (must be for another vehicle). I wish it came with the gasket for the machining end of the lower intake... I must have received a newer version of this kit. I read some reviews stating that it didn't come with lower injector O-rings. Mine did. Upper and lower. I didn't feel like taking the chance of breaking an injector, so I didn't replace the uppers. All in all, good kit. Good quality. I always go Fel-pro when it's an option. FYI: Make sure you get the replacement bypass tubes that go into the tensioner pulley bracket. Both of mine broke on teardown...

The blue part doesn't fit anywhere .. . also the o rings for the injectors are for the uppers, NOT the lowers I broke an injector this way. The gasket is a great product and works well I just wish the instructions were better and they included a lower set of O rings as those are the ones that really need replacing.

Don't try to save money and get the cheaper "OEM" gasket, get this new style that is MUCH improved and you will be glad you spent the extra money, absolutely no leaks if they are installed correctly

Does this kit come with the supercharger gasket needed since you must remove the s/c to get the intake off? Also, does Advance sell the lower fuel injector o-rings and if so, what is the part number? Almost forgot but does it come with a throttle body gasket?

WIth reference to your inquiry on the Felpro Intake Manifold Gasket Set - part# MS 98014 T, the blue piece is a supplemental gasket if needed to fill in any spaces on the front or rear of the intake gasket. For your Grand Prix GTP, the torque specifications are: lower intake manifold bolt - 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.) and upper intake manifold bolt (VIN K) - 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.). Hi. I purchased this gasket set from Advanced Auto Parts for my 1999 Pontiac Firebird, Engine Code K. There are several pieces in the kit that I do not know what to do with. There are 5 O-Rings in varying sizes (the top row in the picture of the product), none of which do I know where they go... along with a small blue circular piece of plastic and a gasket for what looks like a thermostat housing. I also received a set of light blue lower intake manifold gasket seals (front and back) that I do not believe go to my car. Are these just extra pieces that are included, because this manifold set can be used for a variety of makes and models or do I just not know where they go?
