Comments about Felpro Intake Manifold Gasket Set:
Ford Escape 2005 150,000 miles. I recently purchased this SUV and did an entire tune up. In order to change the spark plugs on this model you need to take off the intake manifold on top of the engine. I disconected the throttle cables and vacummn hoses, removed bolts holding intake manifold on and laid back manifold, replaced the spark plugs and while at it with the intake manifold off it was easier to get to the PCV valve and replace it. I also cleaned out intake and ports used a shop vac to clean of any loose debri. Now getting to the gaskets I peeled off orig. gaskets and cleaned up grooves and installed new ones they fit perfectly and I am glad I bought new gaskets after looking at how flattened the old ones were. Put everthing back together and SUV run a lot better and got rid of a whistleing noise.
