Comments about Bosch Premium Oxygen Sensor:

Replacement of all 4 O2 sensors seems to have cleared my lean fault codes on my 2002 F150.

Comments about Bosch Premium Oxygen Sensor:

Purchased this for a 2002 Ford Ranger XLT extended cab with no engine modifications and unfortunately, it did not fit. This was for a pre-cat or upstream replacement. Was replacing both sides and the length of the plug-ins on these Bosch did not fit. They were about 6 inches too short. All the information said these were the right parts but they were not. Returned them to Advance Auto and got an "offbrand" and they fit perfect. [...] Never have a problem returning parts when I screw up and purchase the wrong thing.

Where are oxygen sensors bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 located on a 99 ford explorer 4.0 SOHC?

            • CUSTOMER CARE

              A:

Bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine and the Sensor 1 is in the exhaust close to the engine before the exhaust goes through the catalytic converter. Bank 2 should indicate driver side, and sensor 1 should be the sensor closest to the front of the car, upstream of the catalytic converter.
