Difficult removal of of old o2 sensors on 01 dodge truck. Used a torch and came right out. Regular o2 7/8 socket does not fit.

This is the most expensive O2 sensor of the 4 on the '04 Durango. Must drop the drive shaft to get to the connector.

Have a 1500 2004 dodge ram. Put in part number 13687 for O2 sensor and the engine light is still on with same code. Also engine is starting to cut out and run rough. Any ideas. Thanks

                    A:

The crank sensor, fuel pump and filters and even the throttle body may be the problem. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.

Please check to ensure you replaced the proper O2 sensor; every cross-check I've looked at shws the 2004 RAM 2500 takes (2) O2 sensors.
