Installed in a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 I6 4WD. Original water pump uses a plastic impeller, this one is metal. One week later and it seems to do the job. The heater outlet is not an exact fit for the factory pipe - it will only thread about 2 whole turns. I took it back to the store and tried the factory pipe with another new water pump and it was the same, so it seems the threading on this model is not the same as the OE pump. I used some thread seal and it seems to hold. Other than that it was a direct bolt-on (once you disassemble everything in the way of the water pump, but that's a Jeep issue).

Replaced my water pump in my 2004 Jeep. This was a perfect fit as described. I prefer New parts over reman to maintain my vehicle in top running condition. I also got a great deal with Adanced Auto online.

I got this to replace my water pump with a bad bearing in my 99 Grand Cherokee 4.0L. Very easy to install with the fan shroud removed. All hoses fit perfectly and was a very good stock replacement

Replaced water pump on 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 4.0L. Fan shroud removal was a challenge due to rusted bolts in difficult spots to reach, but otherwise went project went smoothly. New pump matched up perfectly as did the pulley alignment. The impeller on this pump is metal as opposed to the factory pump which is some type of plastic. I have extremely limited automotive experience, but good mechanical aptitude, and after downloadeing install instructions from internet, managed to get this done without too much trouble. (other than the shroud bolts mentioned above)

Installed on 2003 Jeep grand Cherokee and it fit perfect. Did not have to grind anything down as other had posted. I had prepared for it to take many hours but it only took about 1.5 hours.
