Comments about Fenco Steering Gear Box:
Product was a good price, specialty tools and a good sized air compressor are helpful. Core charge is a bit steep for a steering gear but you get it back in the end.

Comments about Fenco Steering Gear Box:
There was large play when steering, the truck followed steering commands very slowly. Dealership narrowed it down to a worn gear box (all other front end parts were recently rebuilt). Bought a rebuilt gear box online for 30% less, but did not fit as Ford must have changed the item during this model year. AdvanceAutoParts had this one in stock, was a bit more (30%, see above), but did fit properly. Core charge of [$] is outrageous, most places charge around $50. Refund was done the same day core was returned. The steering is tighter but still lots of play, even with new OEM tires. Lifetime warranty is useless as it only applies to manufacturing defects and not normal wear.

Comments about Fenco Steering Gear Box:
After purchase of product that I took back home, found it to be boxed wrong. This would not fit my truck. Called store and said can't have till tommorow. Guess what, truck already apart. Called [@] and had right one in stock, same money. Had discount coupon with advance but lost that because of their mistake. Think twice!!!!
