Comments about Delphi ABS Speed Sensor:
Had an ABS light, with flashing overdrive light, and speedo wouldn't kick in until about 35. Research indicated it was probably the ABS speed sensor, which is located on top of the rear diff. Never gave me a code when I ran the scanner on it. Pretty easy to remove and replace, but make sure you don't try to pry the old one out and break it off. If you do that, you'll have to take apart the rear diff. Worked my old one back and forth for about 5 minutes, then it popped out. Solved all my problems. This part a perfect fit for my truck.
Comments about Delphi ABS Speed Sensor:
Item does not fit my early (MFD Sept 2002)2003 S-10 2.2L, 2WD although the online site calls for this item. Had to order 2002 S-10 2WD sensor. The clerks at the Xenia, OH store were great in figuring out that the computer was wrong and getting me the correct part. You need to correct the computer for this item for ths vehicle. Many thanks to the helpfull and knowledgeable clerks.

A:
Vehicle speed sensors can be located at each wheel or in the trans-axle. However, I recommend visiting your local Advance Auto Parts store and purchasing Haynes Repair Manual. The book will provide you with replacing the ABS Speed Sensor for your specific vehicle. It will also direct you step by step with detailed instructions on the replacement process for any part on your vehicle.
