Our CV Joint Boots provide various methods of eliminating the removal of the CV joint during installation. Uni-Fit boots can be stretched over the CV Joint, Quick Boots come in halves that are joined by an adhesive weld compound, and Speedi Boots are split boots that are bolted together around the axle.

This is a soft plyable Composite Material.Not like the harder cheaper boots. Very easy to use. I would get the pliers that install the strap correctly

This part Dorman - Help Universal C.V. Joint Boot Kit Front Outer, Part No. 03680: Replaces most inner and outer CV joint boots, stretches to fit joints up to 3-5/8" in diameter, Quick Boots come in halves that are joined by an adhesive weld compound, and Speedi Boots are split boots that are bolted together around the axle., kit includes boot, grease and two clamps. This can be installed without special tools.
