Installed the part and started leaking when car was started! The pump was noisey. I should have noticed something was wrong by the poor shape the part was in. It looked like it may have been installed previously!

I had my mechanic install this pump on my SUV a couple months ago. It is now starting to give me problems such as difficult steering when slowing down for a turn, and also a loud whining noise. It will need to be replaced asap. Don't waste your money on this pump. Like they say, "you get what you pay for" and this one is not worth the money. Spend more money on a better unit or buy one that is brand new. It will save you headaches in the long run. I now have to pay my mechanic additional labor charges to swap this one out. I will never buy another remanufactured unit from Advance Auto Parts again.
