          The air expansion valve may be the possible cause of the problem. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified A/C mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.

          If your vehicle has aa expansion valve, it will usually be located on the firewall. It usually sits insdie the fits wall.

          Most always, expansion valves are located in evaporator case. Evap cases are under passenger side dash just behind glove box. Honda's exp valves are completely enclosed in evap case.
