The actual radiator itself seems fine. But there are two areas of concern, especially for an inexperienced mechanic. 1. The ridge on the inlet and outlet is smaller than factory, so if you use the factory spring-type hose clamps, you risk having your hose blow right off the rad under system pressure. Using aftermarket clamps will prevent that. 2. The transmission cooling line connection on the left (driver's side) is angled about 45 degree. It should be straight. It completely changes the routing of the formed factory line and actually has to be repositioned just to attach the line. Angles into the engine mount beam.

Comments about Ready-Rad Radiator:
Product was well packaged and easy to install. Have no complaints at all with the quality of the product. Be aware though that it doesn't come with a radiator cap so you have to use your old one or buy a new one. Love Advance Auto Parts! They do a great job at customer service and providing the best and lowest cost parts.

Comments about Ready-Rad Radiator:
Radiator came with auto trans cooling lines however I only needed for manual trans. Would be better if caps/plugs supplied to cover holes for auto trans lines rather than having to leave them sticking out unconnected. Priced reasonably.

Q:
I have a manual trany so what do i do with the ports for cooling the trany?2 answers
A:
Had this issue with replacing the radiator with my Honda. The trany cooler is a closed off pipe that just runs through the radiotor and doesn't require a connection. Hope that helps.CUSTOMER CARE
A:
I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.Q:
