Comments about Dorman - Autograde Chrome Acorn 2-Piece 1/2 Inch-20, Hex 13/16 Inch Length 1.407 Inch:
They look nice but for a truck (particulatly 4X4) I would be concerned about the concial seat area.
One lock split as I was hand torquing the nut.
Get Gorilla locks if they still exist

This is a great value for the money and is a complete set for all 4 wheels that really improved the overall look of my '89 F-150 4x4 with stock rims. Just what I was wanting. I also bought chrome valve stem sleeves/caps set to complete the package!

Comments about Dorman - Autograde Chrome Acorn 2-Piece 1/2 Inch-20, Hex 13/16 Inch Length 1.407 Inch:
I bought these to replace the 2 piece lug nuts on my Jeep. They fit great, look great, and were a lot cheaper than buying 25 seperate lug nuts. The "key" could fit the lock nuts a little better but I have seen worse. They should be fine as long as you follow the manufacturers warning and DO NOT USE AN IMPACT WRENCH or OVER-TORQUE them. Most lugnuts are supposed to be torqued between 80ft-lbs and 120ft-lbs (consult owners manual for your specific vehicle.) I'm a tire technician and I would reccomend these.

Comments about Dorman - Autograde Chrome Acorn 2-Piece 1/2 Inch-20, Hex 13/16 Inch Length 1.407 Inch:
Installed on first two wheels and on both locking lug stripped just using a 14" breaker bar. The metal is very soft. I had to hammer over a larger socket to remove them both. They appear to be made of very soft metal and the key does not seat in them very well.
Before I got them tight the chrome cracked. Even if they worked they would have started to rust after they cracked. My advise, don't waste your money.
Besides they would have been tough to remove if you ever got a flat. Luckily I was at my garage and had the tools to remove them!
