I put these in my 2002 5.3 Silverado Z71 after putting a cold air intake on it,they helped balance out the more air flow bacause they do run hotter. My truck has 174000 miles, it has never had this much horsepower. I read these other reviews before purchasing, thought I would chance it and its working out pretty good so far.I have put over 600 miles on them so far.I have not checked actual mileage put seems to have helped.

I put them in my GMC,5.3L, 2000. didnt even get 200 miles on them & pulled them out! yes I was also running a Hypertech program. When the codes started poping I took the program out of my truck, to see if that was an issue. No it was not, code still came back (P0300). I made a "B-Line" to the parts store and got a set of AC Delco plugs... I put them in and now my 2000 GMC 5.3L runs like a nice lil kitty (84,500 miles).

I bought a set of these plugs for our 2001 5.3L suburban, the first winter in the cold it made it start hard and if it was real cold (-0) it would hardly start at all, it would have to crank over until the battery was dead, get the charger out and crank some more before it would start and the mileage dropped, also noticed dead spots in acceleration from time to time. I pulled them out and installed a set of A/C delco iridiums and OMG what a difference! It fires right up in the cold and runs so much smoother it's unreal, throttle response and mileage are better as well. Do yourself a favor and buy the A/C plugs, you won't be dissappointed!

I put these plugs in my 98 ranger..what I like most is my truck seems to start quicker and a smoother running motor..as far as any gas mil increase I'm yet to really see it..the down side is u need to run a 91 or better when using these or u will have misfiring issues all day long...so if u don't wanna spend the extra money at the pump then these are not for u..

Installed plugs in GMC Sierra with 5.3L and within 5000 mi started having misfire issues. Pulled plugs and saw excessive wear (corrosion and what looked like carbon tracings on porcelain shank). Replaced with ACDelco. What a difference, misfires gone, truck running very smooth. These plugs are not worth the hassle.

Comments about E3 Premium Special Electrode Automotive Spark Plug:
I put these plugs in my 2001 Tahoe (5.3) as a experiment to all of the hype that has been circling them. Well i pulled them after only 600 miles in the truck. The loss of power was definately noticable on hills and the loss of MPG was awful. The truck was getting 18mpg on the hwy with the original AC Delcos that had 100k on them, that dropped to 15.9mpg Hwy with these plugs. The bottom line is they are great for use in small engines (motorcycles, lawnmowers, etc.) but stick with a normal OE plug for cars. I went with NGK Iridium since they manufacture AC delco now.

Comments about E3 Premium Special Electrode Automotive Spark Plug:
I bought these plugs to see how they would perform after seeing them on a popular tv show. After about 1,000 miles my LS1 Camaro began to misfire, gas mileage dropped, and it began a ticking sound. The ticking came from the pot metal E3 uses on the end of the plug that the plug wires snap onto. 4 of the 8 spark plug ends were loose and were becoming oval shaped rather than round. I replaced these hyped-up plugs with AC Delco iridium spark plugs and the car runs much stronger, gas mileage went back up, all the ticking disappeared, and no more misfires. Bottom line DON'T try these plugs, they may work great on a dyno for a tv show but do not last for everyday driving!

Q:
I have an 1999 corvette with an LS1 engine. The E3 site calls out a E3.62 your site calls out a E3.54 ???3 answers
A:
I think the E3 could be a mistake and suggest you carefully research this, consensus appears to be to stick with ACDelco or NGK for the LS1. I am having big time problems with the E3 in my LS1 Camaro.A:
If you are like me and do not have 60 bucks to go throw away, investigare it and triple check. Also are they going to run with any other modifications that you have madeQ:
When changing spark plugs should i put any thread sealer/antiseize on the spark plug threads?2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
It is recommended that you put a antiseize compound on the spark plug threads. The antiseize compound will help keep the spark plug threads from expanding. Allowing you to remove the spark plugs without any complications.
