These Ceramic brake pads aren't the most expensive pads the AAP sells, still a great product. They should push this product a little more on thier sight. If they gave it a picture it would help to show it up a little on thier online catalog.

I was very unhappy to learn that these were the incorrect pads for my vehicle. Aparently there are two selections and the web site did not prompt me to check or make a second choice. I was equally unhappy when I returned them to the store and found out that I was credited [$] and change (because that what I paid with the on line discount) and had to repurchase the correct ones at FULL price. BAsically an $18.00 increase. Something should be done to credit me the difference due to the fact that the website is not clear to the customer to check what style calipers are on the vehicle. Please advise how I will be compensated.

I ordered these pads and rotors online and picked them up same night so I could hit the ground running the next morn. Took old brakes off and discovered that I had been given wrong pads and rotors. Returned to store and found that my parts were there(I was given someone elses)Looked at new parts and found pads wee still wrong.I dbl chkg my online order and found no error on my part.1999 Grand Cherokee, front, 4.0 eng. ?????

If you are weighing whether or not to get ceramic brakes I can help with myh early results of the Wagner Ceramic brakes purchased for my 04 Jeep.
I have what I believe to be Alloy rims and my prior brakes would leave a significant amount of brake dust on them causing me to wash my vehicle more than I would like. Early indications are this is not a problem. The performance of the brake far exceeds my original brakes because of the decrease in stopping distance. I researched SemiMetallic VS Ceramic b4 purchasing the brakes and they both appear to cause increase wear to the rotors compared to softer/organic brake pads. Taking this in consideration, I looked at the warranty of Advance Auto rotors which is a 2 yr warranty and the assumption in todays market that you should replace your rotors when you replace your brakes. The price of the pads was not a large step up from life time semi metallic. This lead me to the purchase of new pads along with new rotors and the relief of knowing I can rely on my brakes when I brake hard for the fools who cut me off or get in front of me to get off the highway exit that I too am trying exit. I am hard on my brakes by way of braking in a short amount of distance at a higher than normal rate of speed. To summarize, reasonable price, shorter stopping distance, & significant decrease in brake dust lead me to my decision in purchasing the pads. P.S. I reviewed the rotors I commented on in this review, so check it out if it is a factor in the purchase of your pads.
