I actually had to have my wife install these plugs due to a serious car accident I was in in Feb. of 2012. She did a wonderful job. The plugs themselves are very well designed and do improve performance (10-15%) if you install and replace the wires (correctly) and at the same time. BE SURE TO LUBE THE PLUG WIRES ! I do not recommend anti-seize with these. But overall I'm very impressed.

Comments about Bosch Platinum+4 Spark Plug:

Have F-150 4.6L, changed OE plugs at 140,000 miles installed Bosch Platinum plugs. After 40,000 miles pulled the Bosch plugs to check on them. The carbon pattern builds un-uniformly creating a bridge to the electrode -- unlike the OE Platinum that builds uniformly. Going back to OE plugs.

what kind of vehicle do you have? if its a domestic, honda, toyota, NO! These will only work in german engineered cars like Audi and volkswagen. For domestics, chevy use ACDelco or Autolite Double Platnium. Dodge-- use Champion (any style). Ford-- Use motorcraft only. Toyota, Honda, Mazda use NGK.

You would use a spark plug socket and rachet. Take off old spark plugs then install new ones.

                • A:

NO. The "+4" indicates that there are four posts for the spark to jump from the center electrode to the "ground". Four places to spark instead of just one.
