  • Q:

2005 dodge grand caravan ac in front will not get cold but rear vents blow cold air what could the problem be?

      A:

It may be either a bad blend door actuator or more commonly a broken blend door in the heater box. Also a front clogged orfice tube may cause this , the rear may have an expansion valve. You could have a leak of some kind. Make sure you check for this. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified A/C mechanic for a proper diagnosis.

      A:

Open the hood and prop it up and Find the Low Pressure Side service port. This is located near the firewall on the driver side of the vehicle in most models. It will have a blue or black cap marked L or LOW. And the valve will be in refill kit hose.
