Plus it's Made in USA!! BIG PLUS in my book!

My application - 1998 Grand Am with 3.1L V-6 - wasn't easy to install because of all the other parts that needed to come off to get to the thermostat. Not the fault of the Super Stat!

I bought one Nov.2009, it never did regulate correctly, stayed open most of the time until Sept.2010 and it stuck closed and over heated. I bought a new replacement and it opened once and then closed never reopening and overheated my engine again. It lasted part of a day.

                      A:

The thermostat is usually located on the thermostat housing. I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to locate and repair or replace specific parts.
