Comments about Anchor Mount Engine-Transmission:
I installed an anchor mount from another company 3 years ago and had to buy this one to replace it again, looks like it is an improved design over the previous part, engine vibration is reduced dramaticly and the axles are no longer in danger of being destroyed by alignment issues, this unit is probobly not going to hold up to racing use, but is fine for every day driving, it is fairly easy to install, just pull the pass side dog bone mount and pull the bolts from the engine mount, lift the engine as far as it allows and slip the new one in.

Comments about Anchor Mount Engine-Transmission:
Picked this up to fix my torn up old engine mount on my Grand Prix GTP which was chewed beyond belief causing horrible vibration. Installed this one about a month ago and still going solid with no vibrations and the engine doesn't budge. But while your down there doing this project trust me do the transmission mount as well the dogbones as well. My factory ones made it 130k miles and they had enough. I'm not sure if these are filled with fluid or not like the factory OEM one was which was a messy messy clean up. But i'm not seeing any signs of leaking and overall I am very happy!

Worked fine. Took care of vibration.
Comments about Anchor Mount Engine-Transmission:
Took a while to get the mount in, but it seems solid. Doesn't seem to be fluid filled like some other reviewers have commented. The picture does make the mount look like a fluid filled one, but the mount I received looks like solid rubber, which matches the description. Car is quiet. Can't comment on durability; It has only been a week since I installed it.

Comments about Anchor Mount Engine-Transmission:
These are not high quality mounts. I installed this mount on my Grand Prix and right when I lowered the engine back down I noticed it squished almost as much as my original bad one did. Now, 2 months later it has ripped and leaked out the hydraulic fluid and I need to replace it. It does have a 1 year warranty but I won't be using it because I am going to put a different brand in. Spend the money and get a better one
Comments about Anchor Mount Engine-Transmission:
I just installed this product. As soon as I lowered the engine weight on it, it leaked it's fluid out the bottom hole. Took for a test drive, and vibration just got worse. Catalog should specify that these are FLUID FILLED MOUNTS! I would love to find a solid rubber mount.

The 2796SR is the solid rubber mount which should be MUCH better for all applications - why do you not carry it?? It's even cheaper than the garbage hydraulic mounts which tear under high torque, and daily usage ESPECIALLY for Supercharged 3800s.1 answer

It goes on the passenger side on the bottom underneath the engine on the inside of the body frame.A:
It is the mount on the passenger side of vehicle, directly under the harmonic balancer, you can see it with your passenger wheel off and the splash sheild removed. If your inner cv axle boot keeps coming off then this mount is bad causing your engine to sag and the cv axle to make contact with the lower control arm mount.A:
This is the passenger side motor mount.
