I had to buy a second one because the first one chipped along the rim of the pulley while I was trying to install it. Even the second one chipped slightly, but not enough to worry with.

Cheap plastic cracks and chips easily and is prone to failure.Consider yourself lucky if you manage to get it installed(pressed on shaft) without breaking it.

Only pulley they make except for a dealer [...] Cant belive they dont make a metal pulley for this. This pulley blew up but luckily didnt ruin the belt.

Three months ago, I installed a rebuilt power steering pump and this pulley on my 2000 Malibu. Tonight, the pulley broke into 3 pieces and threw my serpentine belt, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. Don't waste your time on this pulley.

3 broke while trying to install them. I broke one a friend broke 1 and the store employees broke the third one. went to napa they pressed theirs on for me it broke 3 months later same brand as ADVANCES. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS BRAND TO MY ENEMY !!

2000 Olds Silouette
Dorman Plastic pulley #300-201 Installed with a replacement pump, 2 new idler pulleys, a new tensioner assembly, and a new Dayco belt on 6-21-2010. EVERYTHING PERFECT!
Six weeks later on 8-08-2010 the Dorman plastic pulley shears from its metal knurled hub. Leaves vehicle stranded on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.
