sounds like the fuel pressure is leaking back to the tank. if the pump is in the tank there is a part on the pump that goes bad and makes the fuel pressure drain back to the tankAnswered on 6/17/2010 by frankie from sandy hook ky

I have a 1995 olds cutlass supreme with the 3.1 engine.
I replaced the TPS and IAC and finally got it running.
However, now, the engine will not idle below 1500 rpm cold or
hot. None of the dash lamps come on to indicate there is a

Make sure you have the IAC installed the right way if you have 180 degrees out it will leak to much air and cause the motor to have a high idle. Dash lights sounds like you have a bigger problem then just idle.Answered on 3/21/2010 by Host from fl.pbg
