sounds like the fuel pressure is leaking back to the tank. if the pump is in the tank there is a part on the pump that goes bad and makes the fuel pressure drain back to the tankQ:

Make sure you have the IAC installed the right way if you have 180 degrees out it will leak to much air and cause the motor to have a high idle. Dash lights sounds like you have a bigger problem then just idle.
