          A:

With reference to your inquiry on the Accel Super DIS Coil - part# 140017, isolate the negative battery cable. You need to disconnect the ground cable from the negative terminal of the battery. You should also set the emergency or parking brake as an additional safety feature. Locate the IDI/ICM pin and disconnect it from the harness connector. Separate the ignition coil and the ignition coil module assembly from the engine. Detach the housing cover retaining screws and remove the cover. Remove the ignition coil, the seal and the contacts from the cover. Replace the old seals with new seals and lubricate the connection with petroleum jelly. Insert the new ignition coil. Reassemble the engine components. Make sure you put the connections back in the proper place of the car. Just curious about how big of a difference would these make from stock coil packs in a 1994 pontiac bonneville (non-supercharged). Are they worth it?

          A:

These should provide better spark which will give you a better burn of the fuel and air mixture. In turn that can provide better horsepower and a possible increase in gas mileage.
