Comments about GSP New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:
I bought this as a replacement for the driver's side on a 1999 Saturn SL2 because one of the boots got punctured and was leaking grease. When I went to install the part it didn't fit. It was definitely the right physical size and had the correct OBJ spline count but I could never get it to fully engage, even with the snap ring removed.
In regards to the machining when you compare it to the OEM piece you can see a noticeable difference in the quality, as should be expected. There's a reason the OEM part is 5-6 times the cost. However that's no excuse for the overall poor machining and finishing when you're selling an "exact fit" part - The splines on this one weren't as deep and even had some slag on the ends. They also weren't tapered correctly. I suspect it was for these reasons that part wouldn't work.
Do yourself a favor and search the local junkyard for a used OEM piece for $30-$60. The service life for the actual axle is well above 300K and the only reason I replaced mine was because of the boot being torn and the ease of replacing the axle vs. replacing the boot.

Comments about GSP New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:
Quality control is sub-par - while the part fits, the shaft is slightly smaller at the seal face, leading to profuse leaks even with a new seal.

Q:
This item matches my make and model, other than the Abs Gear, but it will not stay engaged in Transmission shaft. It pulls out of trans when tire is on and car let down and put in gear. Any Ideas why?1 answer
