For those that "think" this is an "exact" fit. It does NOT state this on the product page as one reviewer said previously. It says it is a "universal" fit. If you want an "exact" fit, without having to strip wires (which is about a 30 minute job at best)- then you need to look on the product pages for: "direct" fit; NOT "Universal". I'm a 47 yr old woman who has had her mechanic replace several of these on various vehicles, so yes... I do know what I'm talking about. Plus, look at the price; it's cheaper than the "direct" fit so that's kind of a dead give away that you are going to have to Jimmy around with it a bit.

After much troubleshooting found part not able to work with the Honda car . Tried to save customer some monEy and time but after 4 hours of testing and checking found that 02 sensor was the problem. Was also told that these don't usually work by the parts guy at advance. Bought the one from honda and 20 minutes later it was back on the road and all codes were cleared. Parts guy at Honda dealer just laughed we knew !!!

The description on the website showed this as an UPSTREAM replacement and this is not the case. This is a DOWNSTREAM replacement and should only be used to test the cat's performance.
This was used on 2003 Acura RSX Base and did not fix the service light for the UPSTREAM O2 being bad. The DENSO 234-9004 had to be used. If used as a DOWNSTREAM it works just fine.

Comments about Bosch Premium Oxygen Sensor with OE SmartLink:
Unit is Universal fit but connection system is flaky. The added weight of the splice can sag into engine parts. The added length makes it a bad fit for socketed tools (crushes wires - happened with 1st unit). Second unit (my treat) has a bad splice that keps shreading the wire, works for a short but vibration breaks the wire and it is now too short to continue repairs. PPD (a reference to a bad design). Sensor will work but not for more than a few hours at a time.

Was listed as an "Exact Replacement" part for the 1997 Saturn I have (did say universal in the description though). Came pre-wired with a male connector, but needed a female for my application. Description listed 2' of wire, mine barely had 1'. Had to buy a different one.
