Installed these plugs in a 6 cylinder Nissan Truck on 8/9/2003 haven't had a tune-up since. Truck has 205852 miles, just passed a Smog at a Star station. Truck runs almost like new.

Very good spark plugs. But you will notice that after installed , the engine will not smooth on idle as the regular plugs. But you will get better performance. I have replace this plugs 4 times ony car and enjoy with them.

The difference is the design and the metal used on the tip. Although the Platinum +4 is supposed to last longer, the iridiums will give better performance. Be careful with the Platinum +4 plugs because they have been known to damage electrical components of the ignition system in certain vehicles when used.Answered on 12/24/2010 by Anonymous
