i've had nissan's with these calipers for years. they all do the same thing over time, the dust boots rip and the pistons become pitted and seize, the sliders always tend to seize up over time due to lack of lubrication, and the e brake levers seize. its no fault to any particular brand, its just not the greatest design. unfortunately its all we have to deal with these particular kinds of cars. any time i have the tires off or am doing a repair whether its something simple or not i always leave time to check the rear caliper's condition.

Bought it to replace my leaking caliper. Hydraulic part works OK, but parking drake was not engaged. Asked to replace a part, but it is not in a stock any more. Had to take it off and return by warranty for refund.

Caliper was defective where brake line attached.
Was a groove in housing and would not seal. Took back to exchange but was only available at another location. Had to buy more brake fluid as they would not give me under warranty. Was not happy about that.

I had to replace a frozen caliper and chose advanceautoparts over auto zone because the core charge was too high. I have replaced my alternator and starter both from advanceauto parts and the parts just fit and performed better than the original oem.
